The means of payment tools are constantly evolving, one of the most modern are the smart pos or intelligent payment terminals, it is no longer just a means of receiving payments, it now has many services that help businesses. As UX Designer my job was to design apps for this device that are easy and accessible to use.

Background

Prisma is one of the largest means of payment companies in Argentina, with more than 35 years in the market and more than 450 thousand clients creating fintech solutions for all types of business, one of its services is means of payment or Payway, a solution that seeks to be more than a means to receive payments but to help in the management of the business with comprehensive services such as payment tracking, online sales, among others.

What is the problem?

Small and medium-sized companies in Argentina make complex calculations manually and despite the fact that they have tools that can help them with their management, they do not know them.

Goal

Design applications that help small and medium-sized companies in the management of their businesses, through a device of daily use in your premises such as Smart Pos

What was done?

My job as a ux designer was to design applications according to the requirements of my Product Ownrt and taking into account the needs of the clients that our Customer Service shared with us.

I proposed different apps through wireframes and prototypes, where my Viusal Designer partner made the final design, these were some of the works:

Installment Calculator

Some stores and small businesses in Argentina must make the calculations of credit installments manually with the help of a classic calculator, and when making the calculations they must keep in mind many variables, type of product, the brand of the card, if the product applies to Plan Ahora (a government discount), amount of installments and interest per installment.

For this reason, the objective of this app was to facilitate the calculation for businesses and in just 3 steps to be able to indicate the total value, the installments and if the purchase has a discount.

PHE / Business

Prisma offers management services for businesses from desktop, but by having a Smart Pos in their locations, an app version was developed so that businesses can manage from this device, they could see:

How much they have sold with a card per day and per month
When they will receive the money from the transaction
Be able to delegate functions to their collaborators
Subscribe to benefits provided by the government such as the Plan Ahora
